Cho-Oyu (8201m )

Cho Oyu (8,201m. (26,906 ft) is situated 20 km. west of Mount Everest (Khumbu region), at the border between China and Nepal. Cho is the sixth highest mountain in the world. The peak is approached south side from the Thame valley of the Khumbu region of Nepal leading up to the Lungsampa Glacier. Cho Oyu has three main ridges: the Northwest, the Northeast, and the Southwest. It needs a technical knowledge as well as experience to submit the peak.

Cho Oyu Itinerary:
  • Day 01: Welcome to Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to hotel.
  • Day02: Around Kathmandu, shopping, and preparation
  • Day03: Briefing and preparation
  • Day04: Drive to Kodari & transfer Zhangmu (2350m.). Overnight in hotel.
  • Day05: Drive to Nyalam. (3750m). Overnight in hotel.
  • Day06: Rest for acclimatization and explore around Nyalam
  • Day07: Drive to Tingri (4341m.). Camping
  • Day08: Rest Tingri to explore around.
  • Day09: Drive to Base Camp. (4900m). Camping
  • Day10: Base Camp
  • Day11: Advance Base Camp
  • Day12: Middle camp
  • Day13: Cho Oyu Advance Base Camp
  • Day14-32: Climbing & summit Mt. Cho Oyu (8201m.)
  • Day33: Back to Advance Base Camp
  • Day34: Back to Base Camp
  • Day35: Gathering garbages
  • Day36: Drive Back to Tingri
  • Day37: Drive to Zhangmu and transfer to hotel.
  • Day38: Drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel.
  • Day39: Kathmandu leisure
  • Day40: Fly onwards destination
